Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and prosecute patent applications, both domestically and internationally, in various fields of technology.
- Conduct patentability and freedom to operate analyses, and provide strategic advice on intellectual property matters.
- Negotiate and draft intellectual property agreements, including licensing and confidentiality agreements.
- Represent clients in patent disputes, including infringement and validity challenges, before various courts and patent offices.
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Minnesota Bar.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in patent law, including patent prosecution, litigation, and counseling.
- Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. and international patent laws and procedures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
