Job Details

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire payroll process, ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently
• Manage multi-state payroll and related taxes
• Collect, calculate, and enter data in order to maintain and update payroll information
• Compile summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages and report on this
• Determine payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and state income, social security taxes, employer's social security, unemployment, and workers compensation payments
• Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
• Provide payroll information by answering questions and requests
• Handle the administration of the electronic timekeeping system
• Setup new employees, temporary workers, and contractors in the payroll system
• Manage the monthly payroll tax and garnishments
• Handle the administration of the 401K plan
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines
• Liaise with auditors as required
