Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal support and representation to clients who have been injured as a result of negligence or wrongdoing.
- Conduct thorough case investigations to identify all potential sources of recovery.
- Review and interpret medical records, reports, and insurance policies.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and defense attorneys.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, motions, briefs, and contracts.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and mediation.
- Collaborate with legal staff and colleagues to develop effective case strategies.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Stay current with developments in personal injury law and participate in professional development activities.
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Personal Injury Attorney.
- Admission to the state bar.
- Proven track record of successful personal injury case management from inception to closure.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to resolve cases favorably.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ability to manage a large caseload and juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in legal research software and MS Office.
- Empathy and advocacy skills, with a passion for helping clients navigate through difficult times.
