Job Details
Responsibilities :
1. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in auto accident cases.
2. Prepare legal briefs, motions, and other legal documents related to personal injury cases.
3. Develop legal strategies and arguments based on established laws and precedents.
4. Conduct research to formulate legal opinions and analyze probable outcomes based on legal precedents or existing laws.
5. Provide legal advice to clients on their rights and obligations.
6. Manage all phases of personal injury litigation from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
7. Collaborate with other attorneys in the firm to share best practices and knowledge.
8. Maintain professional relationships with clients, providing exceptional client support and communication.
9. Lead and manage a team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages team building and collaboration.
10. Ensure all case management and tracking systems are updated regularly.
Qualifications :
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active member of the Texas State Bar.
3. 5 years of experience as a personal injury attorney, with a focus on auto accident cases.
4. Proven experience as a plaintiffs' attorney with a strong track record of success.
5. Proficiency in Spanish and bilingual skills are highly desirable.
6. Exceptional case management skills and organizational abilities.
7. Excellent knowledge of drafting legal documents, complaints, and motions.
8. Strong client-facing experience and client services skills.
9. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
10. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
11. Ability to handle a high caseload and a willingness to go above and beyond to meet client needs.
12. Strong understanding of legal strategy, injury litigation, and the legal process.
