Job Summary The Personal Lines Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships, policy renewals, endorsements, claims handling, and providing excellent customer service to personal insurance clients. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of insurance products, proficiency with the EPIC management system, and the ability to work closely with team members to deliver top-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management Maintain and service a book of personal insurance clients, addressing inquiries related to policies, coverage options, billing, and claims.
Policy Renewals Proactively manage the renewal process, including reviewing coverage needs, obtaining quotes from carriers, and presenting renewal proposals to clients.
Endorsements and Policy Changes Process policy changes such as endorsements, cancellations, and new business submissions within EPIC.
Claims Support Assist clients with claims, provide guidance on the process, and follow up with carriers to ensure timely resolution.
Coverage Reviews Conduct coverage reviews for existing clients to identify potential gaps and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
EPIC System Utilization Utilize the EPIC agency management system to manage client accounts, document interactions, track tasks, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Carrier Relationships Communicate and negotiate with insurance carriers to secure the best terms and coverage for clients.
Team Collaboration Work closely with producers, underwriters, and other team members to provide excellent client service and ensure the successful management of accounts.
Compliance Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and ensure all processes comply with company policies and insurance guidelines.
Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in personal lines insurance account management.
Proficiency in using the EPIC management system.
Strong knowledge of personal insurance products (homeowners, auto, umbrella, etc.).
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Insurance license (Property & Casualty) required.
