Job Summary:
The Personal Lines Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships, policy renewals, endorsements, claims handling, and providing excellent customer service to personal insurance clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Maintain and service a book of personal insurance clients, addressing inquiries related to policies, coverage options, billing, and claims.
- Policy Renewals: Proactively manage the renewal process, including reviewing coverage needs, obtaining quotes from carriers, and presenting renewal proposals to clients.
- Endorsements and Policy Changes: Process policy changes such as endorsements, cancellations, and new business submissions within EPIC.
- Claims Support: Assist clients with claims, provide guidance on the process, and follow up with carriers to ensure timely resolution.
- Coverage Reviews: Conduct coverage reviews for existing clients to identify potential gaps and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
- EPIC System Utilization: Utilize the EPIC agency management system to manage client accounts, document interactions, track tasks, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Carrier Relationships: Communicate and negotiate with insurance carriers to secure the best terms and coverage for clients.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with producers, underwriters, and other team members to provide excellent client service and ensure the successful management of accounts.
- Compliance: Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and ensure all processes comply with company policies and insurance guidelines.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in personal lines insurance account management.
- Proficiency in using the EPIC management system.
- Strong knowledge of personal insurance products (homeowners, auto, umbrella, etc.).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Insurance license (Property & Casualty) required.
