As a Permanent Physician Assistant in the Healthcare industry, you will play a pivotal role in the overall care and well-being of patients battling substance abuse and addiction. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant difference in patients' lives by providing high-quality healthcare services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support to our physicians, conducting comprehensive assessments, managing detoxification processes, and treating patients with substance abuse issues. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

1-year clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting preferred
Current Physician Assistant full and unrestricted licensure in the state of practice and active state DEA License required.

- Assist physicians in the medical management and treatment of patients with substance abuse issues and addictions.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to understand their medical history, addiction severity, and overall health condition.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patients' specific needs and goals.
- Monitor patients during detoxification processes, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Provide patient education on addiction, recovery, and relapse prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to patients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of addiction medicine and incorporate them into patient care when appropriate.
