Some of the key responsibilities include
- Review patient records and medical history
- Conduct physical examinations and diagnose conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe treatments, medications, and vaccinations
- Provide health education and preventive care advice
- Deliver prenatal and postnatal care
- Perform surgical procedures within competency
- Refer patients to specialists when necessary
- Document patient visits and treatment plans
- Conduct follow-ups for high-risk cases
- Perform examinations for school or job requirements
- Review Family Planning service health charts
