Responsibilities
As a Permanent Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney, your duties will include but are not limited to
- Representing clients who have suffered personal injuries in legal proceedings.
- Conducting thorough case investigations to identify potential legal claims and defendants.
- Drafting and filing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Conducting legal research to support the development of case strategies and legal arguments.
- Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients in an effort to resolve cases as efficiently and favorably as possible.
- Advocating for clients at trial, presenting evidence, cross-examining witnesses, and arguing legal issues to the court.
- Providing clients with regular case updates and maintaining clear and open communication at all times.
- Complying with all legal standards and regulations.
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Texas state bar and in good standing.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a plaintiff personal injury attorney.
- Proven track record of successful plaintiff personal injury litigation, including trial experience.
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to achieve favorable settlements for clients.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a large caseload with multiple deadlines.
- A commitment to client service and a passion for achieving justice for individuals who have suffered personal injuries.
