Get ready to take the next big leap in your career with our exciting opportunity for a Permanent Plant Controller in the Manufacturing industry. Our company is a global leader in manufacturing, and we are on the hunt for a dynamic, self-motivated individual to join our team. As a Plant Controller, you will play a pivotal role in driving our financial performance and bringing financial clarity to our operations.

Responsibilities

As a Plant Controller, you will be responsible for

• Developing and maintaining adequate financial controls and ensuring their application.
• Providing financial analysis, planning, and forecasting for the plant to assist in decision making.
• Preparing accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating with plant management to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.
• Coordinating with the corporate finance team to ensure accurate and timely consolidation of financial data.
• Utilizing financial systems and tools (SAP, Hyperion, Business Warehouse) to provide critical financial and operational information.
• Leading the annual budgeting process and implementing cost control programs.
• Evaluating new business opportunities, investments, and capital expenditure proposals.
• Ensuring compliance with tax, legal, audit, and internal control policies.
• Providing financial training to plant personnel to improve financial awareness and understanding.
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or CPA designation is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a plant controller or similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong financial acumen including experience with forecasting, financial reporting, and financial planning.
• Proficiency in using financial software such as SAP, Hyperion, and Business Warehouse.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
• The ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A proactive approach to work, with a strong drive to improve and streamline processes.
• A high level of integrity and reliability, with a commitment to uphold the company's values and ethical standards.
