Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily plant operations, ensuring production schedules, safety standards, and quality expectations are met.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement to drive operational excellence.
- Manage and mentor plant personnel, providing coaching and development to build a high-performing team.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization.
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, making workplace safety a top priority.
- Coordinate with sales and logistics teams to ensure on-time product delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and troubleshoot operational challenges to minimize downtime.
- Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities to improve profitability.
- Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and experience totaling at least 5 years, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
- 5 years of experience in plant operations, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with a track record of building and managing successful teams.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, along with quality assurance and compliance standards.
- Experience in process optimization, lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and improving cost efficiency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyze production data and key performance indicators.
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions, perform heavy lifting as needed, and travel when required.
