A Plumbing Engineer in the MEPF (Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing/Fire Protection) Practice shall provide waste & vent, water distribution, roof drainage/storm and fire protection scope designs. Project types include…
- Museums, Universities, Performing Arts Centers.
- Restaurants & entertainment
- High end residential
- Produce/maintain design drawings & specifications from schematic design through construction administration
- Conduct field surveys and construction observation
- Engage with clients and staff in order to manage and coordinate scope and schedule
- Minimum of 2 years of experience designing plumbing and fire suppression systems
- Experience within the MEPF space, working on commercial projects. It is a plus if you have worked on more complex or aesthetically appealing projects!
- Proficient in Revit 3D to layout plumbing and fire suppression system piping and equipment
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
- Familiarity with building codes (ILPC, IPC, UFC, IECC)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering related field is preferred, but not required
- PE licensure or EIT certification is a plus
