MUST HAVE -
- VA Registered PE preferred or ability to obtain licensure in Virginia within 6 months
- BSCE from ABET accredited engineering program
- Excellent engineering design, written, and communication skills
- Minimum of 12 yrs of technical experience and 5 years of project management and client services experience
- Experience with VDOT and municipalities is a plus
- Lead and manage multiple transportation design projects
- Develop project schedules and budgets
- Supervise design team members
- Provide quality assurance to meet design criteria and regulatory requirements
- Business development and team management
- Assist in developing Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), technical proposals, and presentations
- Coordinate with clients, sub-consultants, government, and regulatory agencies
- Working knowledge of design plan preparation using Open Roads Design, GEOPAK and MicroStation
