We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Polisher with expertise in Hand Finish and Deburr to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position is integral to ensuring the smooth and efficient production of our high-quality products.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Polisher (Hand Finish Deburr), you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. Your primary responsibilities will include

• Using hand tools and equipment to perform finishing operations, such as grinding, polishing, and deburring on a variety of materials.
• Inspecting and measuring finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Detecting and reporting any defective products or materials to the supervisor.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
• Collaborating with other team members to improve production methods and meet production goals.
• Keeping accurate records of work performed, materials used, and production outcomes.
  
  

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment for finishing operations.
• Strong knowledge of materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• The ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and written instructions.
• Good physical condition and endurance, as the role involves standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in a related field is a plus.
