This role is critical in our multifamily construction projects, where you will work closely with our preconstruction and development teams. Our ideal candidate has a solid background in estimating, preconstruction, development, multifamily construction, and wood frame construction. You will play a pivotal role in the financial planning and cost analysis of our construction projects, ensuring that we deliver high-quality work while maintaining profitability.

Our ideal candidate has a solid background in estimating, preconstruction, development, multifamily construction, and wood frame construction. You will play a pivotal role in the financial planning and cost analysis of our construction projects, ensuring that we deliver high-quality work while maintaining profitability.
Responsibilities
As a Preconstruction Manager/Estimator (Multifamily), you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for multifamily construction projects, including labor costs, material costs, equipment costs, and time scales.
- Collaborating with preconstruction and development teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Analyzing project risks and producing risk assessments.
- Reviewing design plans and proposals to determine the most cost-effective solutions.
- Preparing and presenting cost reports and financial summaries to management.
- Developing relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best prices and quality.
- Utilizing estimating software to produce accurate and detailed estimates.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends and advancements in technology to ensure the company remains competitive.
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating, preconstruction, development, multifamily construction, and wood frame construction.
- A strong understanding of construction processes and principles, including a thorough knowledge of the multifamily construction sector.
- Proficiency in using estimating software and other relevant computer applications.
- Excellent numerical skills and the ability to produce accurate, detailed estimates.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
