Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Preconstruction Project Manager to join our team in the luxury residential construction industry. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work on high-profile projects, providing bespoke solutions to our elite clientele. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of project management, construction start-up processes, client-facing tasks, reviewing plans and structure options, custom changes and setting benchmarks. CAD Drafting experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the preconstruction phase of our luxury residential projects, ensuring all aspects are planned and executed efficiently.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and clients to develop custom pricing models that align with the project's specifications and budget.
• Interpret and analyze blueprints, ensuring all details are accurately captured and incorporated into the project plan.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining open and effective communication throughout the preconstruction process.
• Conduct risk management assessments during the preconstruction phase to identify potential challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
• Foster strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition from preconstruction to construction phases.
• Continuously monitor industry trends and advancements in technology to identify opportunities for improving our preconstruction processes and deliverables.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on luxury residential projects.
• Proven experience in construction start-up processes, client-facing roles, custom pricing, and blueprint reading.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships.
• Proficiency in using project management software and tools. Builder Trend a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex blueprints and develop accurate project plans.
• High level of attention to detail, ensuring all preconstruction processes are executed to the highest standard.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential risks during the preconstruction phase and develop effective mitigation strategies.
