Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring all projects are completed to the highest standards.
- Coordinate utility and right-of-way impacts, street lighting, traffic signal, and landscape/hardscape layout for various projects.
- Develop and review construction documents, ensuring they are accurate, comprehensive, and compliant with relevant regulations.
- Serve as a project and design manager, overseeing the entire lifecycle of engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Utilize your expertise in roadway design, 3D modeling, and drainage design to contribute to the success of our projects.
- Use AutoCAD and GEOPAK software to create and modify technical drawings and plans.
- Collaborate with other team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure all project requirements are met and any issues are promptly resolved.
- Continually stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to your work.
- A Professional Engineering license in MA is required.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution.
- At least 15 years of engineering experience developing construction documents and/or public agency construction administration.
- At least 5 years serving in a project and/or design management role.
- Proficiency in roadway design, 3D modeling, and drainage design.
- General experience leading multidisciplinary teams, coordinating utility and right-of-way impacts, street lighting, traffic signal, and landscape/hardscape layout.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and GEOPAK.
- Experience in Civil – Roadway – Highway design and an interest in moving into Complete Streets Design.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in all work.
