The Opportunity
We are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to lead our product development efforts and drive innovation in the critical environment airflow control industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and product development, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Develop the project schedule and coordinate the project-related activities of team members (in-house and subcontractor) to ensure the product development effort progresses on schedule.
- Design and Development: Use computer-assisted engineering and design tools to perform engineering tasks thoroughly and efficiently. Develop test specifications and carry out design verification testing to ensure design meets the performance requirements imposed by the functional specification.
- Testing and Compliance: Coordinate and schedule pre-compliance and agency compliance testing, including CE and UL.
- Training and Support: Provide technical training and support to engineering, manufacturing, and sales personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum of ten years' experience working in a manufacturing company in the capacity of product development and design of electronic and/or electro-mechanical microprocessor-based products.
- Candidates must be computer literate and proficient in MS Office, Outlook, MS Project, Visio Technical, Mathcad, Labview, Schematic Capture Software, PCB Layout Software, and Embedded Firmware Development Tools.
- Embedded Software Development using C, C .
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging electronic-based products and systems.
