We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Production Supervisor for our 2nd shift operations in the Manufacturing industry. Responsibilities
As a Production Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will include
- Overseeing the daily operations of our 2nd shift production team to ensure all safety, quality, and production goals are met.
- Implementing and maintaining SQF and food safety standards throughout the production process.
- Supervising and coordinating all activities related to meat and protein processing.
- Applying lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline production processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
- Training, coaching, and developing production team members to achieve their full potential and meet performance expectations.
- Collaborating with other departments to resolve production issues and improve overall plant performance.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
- Implementing and managing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality and capacity.
- Developing and maintaining a safe and positive work environment that fosters team spirit and high morale.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications
- At least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience with food safety, SQF, meat processing, protein processing, production management, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in using various computer software and systems related to manufacturing operations.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
