Responsibilities
As a Permanent Production Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include
- Supervising and coordinating all production and operational processes, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Developing and implementing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Monitoring production outputs, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Logistics) to optimize operational efficiency.
- Implementing and managing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality and capacity.
- Ensuring that all health and safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Conducting performance evaluations, providing feedback, and coaching team members to foster their professional growth.
- Managing resources effectively and efficiently, ensuring optimal utilization.
- Troubleshooting operational and production issues, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
The ideal candidate for the Production Supervisor position should possess the following qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the engineering industry.
- Proven experience in operations management, with a strong understanding of production planning and quality control principles.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in using MS Office Suite and production management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations within the engineering industry.
- Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or similar qualification would be an added advantage.
