Job Details:
Production Supervisors will oversee manufacturing operations, ensuring products meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards. Responsibilities include:
- Supervising day-to-day production line operations, meeting schedules, and maintaining quality standards.
- Implementing and maintaining safety procedures, training staff on regulations.
- Applying Lean Manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Maintaining compliance with HACCP, SQF, and GMP guidelines, conducting regular audits.
- Coordinating with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain departments for smooth operations.
- Training and mentoring production staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Identifying and resolving production issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Reporting on production metrics and updating senior management on performance.
Qualifications:
To be considered, applicants must have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in meat production and processing.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HACCP, SQF, and GMP guidelines.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
- Strong leadership skills, ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and decision-making under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- The ability to work flexible hours, including 1st or 2nd shifts.
