The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our production workflows, managing our production staff, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Production Supervisor to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take charge of our production operations and ensure we maintain the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our production workflows, managing our production staff, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. They will play a critical role in ensuring that we meet our production targets and maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all production activities, ensuring that projects are executed in a timely manner and within budget parameters.
- Implement and monitor strict quality control protocols in line with ISO and ASME standards to ensure the superior quality of products.
- Utilize Lean Management and 5S methodologies to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and enhance productivity.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Kaizen principles to ensure constant enhancement of production efficiency and quality.
- Train, mentor, and manage production staff, ensuring a high-performance work environment.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategic plans to meet production goals.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from production floor staff to senior management.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge and experience with ISO and ASME standards.
- Proven experience with Lean Management, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Bilingual skills are required, with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of motivating and leading a team to achieve production targets.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve production issues swiftly and effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- A degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
