We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team in the Food Manufacturing industry. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines and maintaining the highest quality standards for our products. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing plant, ensuring that all production goals are met, and maintaining compliance with all applicable food safety regulations. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a background in the food industry and a passion for quality and efficiency.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team in the Food Manufacturing industry. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines and maintaining the highest quality standards for our products. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing plant, ensuring that all production goals are met, and maintaining compliance with all applicable food safety regulations. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a background in the food industry and a passion for quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring that all products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
- Implement and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and ensure compliance with all applicable food safety regulations, including FDA requirements.
- Manage and resolve any issues related to CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), ensuring that all actions are implemented in a timely manner.
- Lead and manage a diverse team of production workers, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Coordinate with other departments, including Quality Assurance, to ensure that all products meet our strict quality standards.
- Monitor and manage production schedules to ensure that all orders are fulfilled on time and within budget.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all applicable health and safety regulations.
- Continually seek ways to improve production processes, increasing efficiency and reducing waste.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points).
- Communicate effectively with team members and management, providing regular updates on production status and any issues or concerns.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the food sector.
- Experience with CAPA, FDA regulations, and HACCP is required.
- Knowledge of bakery, baked goods, and meat production processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of Food Safety and FSQA (Food Safety Quality Assurance) principles.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A degree in Food Science, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
