Responsibilities
As a Products Liability Attorney, you will be responsible for
- Representing clients in product liability litigation cases, including trial preparation, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy.
- Advising clients on product safety issues, including compliance with federal and state regulations and industry standards.
- Managing product recall situations, including coordinating with regulatory agencies, communicating with customers, and mitigating legal risks.
- Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient and effective case management.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Products Liability Attorney position should have
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on product liability cases.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state product safety regulations and industry standards.
- Proven track record of successfully managing product recall situations
