Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Utilize software such as Vista Viewpoint, Sage 300, Timberline, and ComputerEase to monitor project costs and progress.
- Calculate the percentage of completion on projects to accurately recognize revenue and costs.
- Prepare and analyze monthly project financial statements and reports, ensuring that all financial data is accurate and up to date.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and other team members to ensure the financial success of each project.
- Identify and resolve any potential financial issues or discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Assist with the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to improve project efficiency and profitability.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project accounting, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using project accounting software such as Vista Viewpoint, Sage 300, Timberline, and ComputerEase.
- Strong understanding of construction project cost accounting and percentage of completion method.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and standards.
