We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Architect to join our progressive engineering team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from conception to completion, in a fast-paced and innovative environment. As a Project Architect, you will collaborate with a team of highly skilled professionals to deliver high-quality, sustainable, and green building designs.
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design projects from initial concept development to final execution, ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet client expectations and company standards.
- Utilize advanced design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and 3D Modeling to create innovative and efficient design solutions.
- Prepare and present design proposals to clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure smooth project execution, meeting all deadlines and budget constraints.
- Develop detailed construction drawings and specifications, ensuring all relevant building codes and regulations are met.
- Manage and oversee the construction process, liaising with construction teams to ensure designs are executed accurately and effectively.
- Promote and implement sustainable design principles and green building practices in all projects.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and advancements, applying this knowledge to improve design outcomes and processes.
- Participate in project reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Collaborate with other architects and engineers to enhance the quality of design and construction.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design, project management, and construction management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and 3D Modeling.
- Demonstrated experience in sustainable design and green building practices.
- LEED AP certification is highly desirable.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead projects from conception to completion.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and architectural plans.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and solutions to a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with other professionals to achieve project goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to find innovative solutions to design challenges.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism in all work.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
