As a Project Engineer I, you'll design and manage the technical aspects of complex systems like Combustion, SCR, and SNCR for industrial applications. Your role will involve working across various engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, process, and structural) to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. You will collaborate with internal teams, external suppliers, and fabricators, handling multiple projects simultaneously. Additionally, you will provide support to sales, field service, and other departments.

Job Details
As a Project Engineer I, you'll design and manage the technical aspects of complex systems like Combustion, SCR, and SNCR for industrial applications. Your role will involve working across various engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, process, and structural) to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. You will collaborate with internal teams, external suppliers, and fabricators, handling multiple projects simultaneously. Additionally, you will provide support to sales, field service, and other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engineer systems for combustion, air pollution control, and ammonia handling for industries like power plants and boilers.
- Develop detailed designs for components like burners, fans, piping, and storage systems.
- Create and manage engineering documentation, including P&IDs, fabrication drawings, and schematics.
- Work closely with customers to ensure designs meet specifications and provide approval.
- Support fabricators during construction and inspect equipment during fabrication.
- Collaborate with project management to ensure schedules are met and budget requirements are satisfied.
- Provide on-site testing support and help with emissions testing as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
- 0-5 years of related engineering experience (environmental industry or boiler systems preferred).
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and engineering design software like AutoCAD (2D) or SolidWorks.
- Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
