We are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing technical and engineering aspects of our projects, ensuring we meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will work closely with our project management team, contractors, and clients to deliver exceptional results, on time and within budget. You will also play a critical role in responding to subcontractor RFI's, reviewing and approving shop drawings for all trades, and organizing personal tasks in written form to ensure efficient and timely completion. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee all technical and engineering aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion.
2. Respond promptly and professionally to subcontractor RFI's, ensuring all queries are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
3. Review and approve shop drawings for all trades, ensuring they meet project specifications and quality standards.
4. Coordinate with project management team, contractors, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
5. Organize personal tasks in written form and work diligently to complete all items efficiently and on schedule.
6. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions.
7. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry.
3. Proficient in responding to subcontractor RFI's and reviewing and approving shop drawings for all trades.
4. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines.
5. Strong technical knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry best practices.
6. Proven ability to manage projects and teams effectively.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
8. Proficient in using project management software and tools.
9. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
