As a Permanent Project Engineering Manager – Power & Energy, you will have the unique opportunity to spearhead and manage major projects in the finance industry. You will be at the forefront of developing and implementing strategies for power and energy projects. This role is perfect for a dynamic, results-oriented individual with a strong background in power plants and a proven track record in project management. You will work in a fast-paced, challenging environment where your skills will be crucial in ensuring the success of our projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of power and energy projects from the beginning to the end.
• Lead and manage a team of engineers and other professionals to achieve project goals.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors and key stakeholders.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
• Use project performance tools to analyze and handle risks and to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
• Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role is required. Experience in the finance industry is a plus.
• At least 10 years of experience in power plants is required.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of engineers and other professionals.
• Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Strong client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid technical background with an understanding of power and energy systems.
• Proficient in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
