We are currently seeking a seasoned Project Manager with a strong background in HVAC/Mechanical Projects. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HVAC/Mechanical projects, from planning and development to execution and completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage HVAC/Mechanical projects from inception to completion.
• Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources needed to successfully complete the project.
• Coordinate and oversee the work of project teams, including contractors and subcontractors.
• Regularly monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure projects stay on track and within budget.
• Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
• Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Review and approve project designs and plans, ensuring they meet the project's objectives and specifications.
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
• Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports for upper management and stakeholders.
• Resolve any problems that may occur during project execution.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in the construction industry with a focus on HVAC/Mechanical projects.
• Professional Engineering License (P.E.)
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address issues before they become problems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization.
• Proficiency in project management software.
• PMP or an equivalent certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
