Job Details

Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations of patients, including assessment of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that include psychotherapy, medication, and other appropriate interventions.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care for patients.
- Providing education and counseling to patients and their families to help them understand and manage their mental health conditions.
- Staying abreast of the latest research and developments in psychiatry and incorporating this knowledge into patient care.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic medical records.
- Participating in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of psychiatric care.
Qualifications
- A medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completed a residency in Psychiatry.
- Board certification in Psychiatry.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in general psychiatry.
- Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients and their families.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to make sound medical decisions.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology.
