Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control systems and measures in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
- Evaluate the efficiency of existing quality control processes and make recommendations for improvements.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure that quality control procedures are properly understood and followed.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Analyze failures and discrepancies to identify their root causes and propose corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure that quality considerations are integrated into product designs from the early stages.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff members on quality control procedures and standards.
- Prepare and present reports on quality control activities to management and stakeholders.
- Keep abreast of latest developments in quality engineering and introduce new concepts and techniques as appropriate.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in the engineering industry.
- Proven experience in Space Flight, Technical, Quality, and AS9100.
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and to lead and motivate others.
- Proficiency in using quality control software and tools.
- Certification as a Quality Engineer from a recognized professional body will be an advantage.
- Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
