Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure that all products meet the required standards and specifications.
- Perform regular inspections and audits, identifying any areas of non-compliance or potential quality issues.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop solutions to identified quality issues.
- Compile and analyze quality control data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations, including AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction).
- Provide training and support to team members on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Participate in project planning and review meetings, providing input on quality control considerations.
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure their products meet our quality standards.
- Handle customer complaints and issues related to quality, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering,.
- 2-4 years of experience in a quality engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes and methodologies, including AISC standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
- Proficiency in using quality control software and tools.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to achieving the highest standards of quality.
- Professional certification in quality control or a related field would be an advantage.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to identify potential quality issues before they become problems.
