Our organization is seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Quality Manager to join our dynamic Engineering team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of quality management principles, engineering processes, and the ability to lead a team to achieve excellence. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role within the Aerospace or Engineering industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality management system that aligns with the company's strategic objectives and complies with relevant regulations and standards.
- Oversee all quality assurance activities, including inspections, audits, and reporting.
- Lead a team of quality engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify potential areas for improvement and implement appropriate solutions.
- Ensure all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with the organization's established policies and objectives.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to minimize potential quality issues.
- Manage the investigation of non-conformities, implement corrective actions, and monitor their effectiveness.
- Provide leadership in the development of a culture that stresses the importance of quality and safety.
- Represent the organization in meetings with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies on matters relating to quality.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in Quality Management or Aerospace Engineering are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role within the Aerospace or Engineering industry.
- Extensive knowledge of quality assurance standards and regulations relevant to the Aerospace industry.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a quality assurance team.
- Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with statistical analysis and process improvement tools.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical information.
- Proficiency in using quality management software and related tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong commitment to ensuring the highest standards of quality control and the ability to instill this commitment in others.
- Proven experience in preparing and presenting reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
