Job Details
As a proprietary trader, you will be responsible for
- Being an excellent steward of risk and capable of providing liquidity in any market condition
- Making data-driven decisions and confidently standing by your actions
- Proactively and effectively communicating any deviation from expected value
- Quickly and accurately prioritizing efforts that drive 80% of the outcome and avoiding efforts that only solve 20% of the outcome
- Learning and executing trading methodologies and gradually increasing responsibilities from shadowing to parameter tuning to placing trades
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience as an experienced trader with a proven track record of success
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or related field
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent quantitative skills
- Track record of proactively solving difficult problems
- Ability to take on many responsibilities quickly with a high degree of operational excellence
