As a Real Estate Attorney, you will be responsible for
- Providing legal advice on a wide range of real estate matters including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development.
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating real estate contracts, leases, and other related documents.
- Conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda on various real estate matters.
- Representing the company in real estate litigation matters before courts and arbitration panels.
- Advising clients on the legal implications of real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Working closely with other professionals in the company, including real estate brokers, property managers, and financial analysts.
- Providing legal training to other team members to enhance their understanding of real estate law.
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with at least 5 years of experience in real estate law.
- Comprehensive knowledge of real estate law, including property rights, real estate contracts, landlord-tenant relations, and real estate finance.
- Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating real estate contracts and other legal documents.
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to represent the company effectively in various legal forums.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical legal solutions to complex real estate issues.
