Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all regional title operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and ALTA best practices.
- Coordinate with home builders, title agents, and escrow officers to facilitate smooth real estate transactions.
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline and improve the title and escrow process.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring high-quality services while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Conduct regular title examinations, identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of title operations within the overall business strategy.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the status of title operations.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices, and ensure their implementation in the company's operations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and handling any concerns or queries.
- Train, mentor, and supervise team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in advanced title Examining preferably in the real estate, home building or vendor management industry with mortgage docs and title clearance processes
- Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, title operations, and escrow services.
- Familiarity with ALTA best practices and examining procedures.
- Excellent vendor management skills - preferably multi-state experience reviewing titles
- Strong leadership and team management abilities - ability to manage 3-4 other Title Examiners
- Experience with Softpro Title Software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Licensed Title Agent or ability to obtain it with the company after 6 months
