We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Junior Corporate Financial Analyst to join our team. Responsibilities
As a Junior Corporate Financial Analyst, your key responsibilities will include
- Supporting the finance team in managing, tracking and performing financial analysis of the company's operations.
- Assisting in the preparation of consolidated financial statements, monthly reporting and month-end close activities.
- Participating in annual budgeting and forecasting activities and performing variance analysis to understand trends and make recommendations.
- Assisting in the management and maintenance of the company's General Ledger.
- Conducting financial analysis, modeling, forecasting and reporting efforts to ensure efficient financial operations.
- Working closely with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize operations and reduce costs.
- Utilizing Dynamics Great Plains ERP system for financial management and reporting.
- Supporting the finance team in managing relationships with 3pl and distribution center partners.
The ideal candidate for the Junior Corporate Financial Analyst role should possess the following
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and experience with General Ledger.
- Experience in preparing Profit and Loss Statements.
- Familiarity with logistics, supply chain management, ERP, Dynamics Great Plains, 3pl, and distribution center operations.
- Proven experience in consolidated financial statement preparation, FP&A, annual budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, month-end close, and monthly reporting.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
