You will be responsible for tax return review/preparation as well as overseeing bookkeeping tasks for an array of clients in various industries.

Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of tax accounting and compliance, including preparation, filing, and reporting of federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to optimize the company's financial performance.
- Conduct thorough business analysis to identify opportunities for tax savings and efficiencies.
- Work closely with the finance team to prepare accurate financial reports and forecasts.
- Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and to capitalize on potential tax incentives.
- Provide expert tax advice to company leadership to support strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Master’s degree in Taxation is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, tax accounting, or a similar role in the finance industry.
- Proven expertise in tax preparation, accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Strong knowledge of business tax, business strategy, business planning, and business analysis.
- Solid understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
