This role presents an exciting opportunity to work Monday to Friday, with no night shifts, no on-call duties, and no weekend work. Responsibilities
As a Retail Pharmacist, your primary responsibilities will include
- Accurately dispensing prescription medications to patients, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy services.
- Providing expert clinical advice to customers, answering queries and offering solutions to a range of health issues.
- Assisting in the management of the pharmacy, including inventory control, maintaining pharmacy records, and overseeing pharmacy technicians.
- Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to pharmacy practice.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to plan, monitor, review, and evaluate patient effectiveness.
- Educating patients on drug therapies, potential side effects, and correct medication usage.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications
- A PharmD degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
- A current, valid license to practice pharmacy in the state.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Retail Pharmacist or similar role.
- Proficiency in medication dispensing and pharmacy management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex medical information to a diverse customer base.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain attention to detail.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating empathy, and maintaining professional relationships with patients and healthcare providers.
