Preferred legal certification and Associate's degree as minimum requirements. This is an on-site Monday through Friday opportunity, 8 AM - 5 PM.

We are seeking a seasoned Permanent Risk Administrator with a focus on Construction. This is a unique opportunity that requires a dynamic individual who is skilled in risk management and administration within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance requirements, subcontractor pre-qualification, legal default, and construction administration. The successful applicant will be responsible for a wide range of complex tasks that play a crucial role in our operations. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Risk Administrator, you will be responsible for

• Managing and administering risk, ensuring all insurance requirements are met and maintained.
• Overseeing the pre-qualification process for subcontractors, ensuring they meet our stringent standards.
• Reviewing and resolving any issues that arise during the course of construction projects.
• Providing guidance and reviewals to all project teams, ensuring compliance with all relevant county laws, licenses, and registrations.
• Managing the close out process, ensuring all necessary submittals are provided and all legal defaults are addressed.
• Coordinating and executing the process of construction administration, ensuring all project details are properly managed and recorded.
• Providing expert advice on any potential risks that could impact our operations.
• Collaborating with legal teams to ensure all legal and contractual obligations are met.
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Risk Administrator - Construction position will have

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management and administration within the construction industry.
• Proven experience in managing insurance requirements and subcontractor pre-qualifications.
• Solid understanding of county laws, licenses, and registrations related to construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of legal defaults and the ability to manage and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise guidance to project teams.
• Proficiency in managing construction administration processes, including the close out process and handling of submittals.
• A strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify potential risks and implement appropriate measures to mitigate them.
• A degree in a related field is highly preferred.
