We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Ruby Developer to join our innovative engineering team. Responsibilities:
1. Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code.
2. Develop new features and user interfaces from wireframe models.
3. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
4. Integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic.
5. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
6. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
7. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
8. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
9. Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, from design to testing.
10. Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.
11. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose how to incorporate them into operations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Ruby on Rails development.
3. Proven experience with Vue.js and PostgreSQL or equivalent.
4. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
5. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
6. Good understanding of server-side templating languages.
7. Familiarity with continuous integration.
8. Solid understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
10. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
11. Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
12. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
