We are seeking a dynamic Sales Administrative Assistant to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our sales department, providing vital support to our sales team while also liaising with clients and maintaining administrative systems. The successful candidate will be a proactive individual who can handle multiple tasks simultaneously and has a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support to the sales team, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and maintaining records.
- Handle all administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Use MS Office Suite, particularly Outlook, to manage emails, schedules, and documents.
- Utilize excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, handle queries, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Perform invoicing tasks, ensuring all sales transactions are accurately documented and processed.
- Use problem-solving skills to address and resolve any issues that arise in the sales process.
- Maintain and update sales reports, providing critical data to the sales team.
- Perform bookkeeping duties as required, maintaining accurate financial records.
- Use research skills to assist in sales initiatives, including identifying potential leads and market trends.
- Assist in the coordination and planning of sales events and initiatives.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proven ability to multitask, managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in invoicing and bookkeeping.
- Proven experience in office administration and customer service.
- Ability to problem solve effectively, demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness.
- Experience in coordinating meetings, including scheduling and logistics.
- Strong research skills, with the ability to identify and utilize relevant information.
- Prior experience in a sales support role would be highly advantageous.
