Our company is a leading player in the Engineering industry, with a particular focus on Aerospace Manufacturing. We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Permanent Customer Service Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing customer orders, and providing accurate quotations and proposals. This role will also involve cost collection and order entry duties. Our ideal candidate is a proactive professional with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment and contribute to our continued growth and success.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide exceptional customer service by handling all customer inquiries, complaints, and orders efficiently and professionally.
2. Prepare accurate quotations and proposals based on customer requirements and company pricing guidelines.
3. Manage the order entry process, ensuring all customer orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
4. Collect and analyze cost data to assist in the preparation of customer invoices and management reports.
5. Collaborate with other departments to resolve any issues related to customer orders, pricing, or delivery.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products, services, and industry trends to provide accurate information to customers.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to promote customer satisfaction and loyalty.
8. Assist in the development and implementation of new customer service policies and procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the Engineering or Aerospace Manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in order entry, cost collection, and preparation of quotations and proposals.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members at all levels.
4. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle customer issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
5. High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in relation to data entry and cost collection.
6. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
8. Knowledge of industry-specific software and systems would be a definite advantage.
9. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to take initiative and work independently when required.
10. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
