We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to play a significant role in our fast-paced, growing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, conducting budget analyses, and managing general accounting functions.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for
- Preparing accurate and timely monthly financial statements and reports.
- Conducting regular ledger maintenance.
- Overseeing the reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts.
- Managing fixed assets and preparing depreciation schedules.
- Preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Analyzing financial reports for discrepancies and other issues.
- Supervising accounting staff and providing training and guidance as necessary.
- Ensuring compliance with all internal processes and legal standards.
- Assisting with tax audits and tax returns.
- Working closely with the finance team to improve financial procedures.
The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant role will have
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level accounting or financial management role.
- Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and other business-related software.
