Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the general ledger.
- Develop and implement the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial procedures.
- Assist with tax preparation and audits.
- Conduct cost analyses and profitability reports.
- Provide financial advice and strategic planning support to the senior management team.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
- Mentor and train junior accounting staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger functions and the year-end close process.
- Expertise in annual budgeting and forecasting.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Excellent understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Strong business and common sense acumen.
