We are on the hunt for a passionate and experienced Permanent Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Aerospace industry. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a challenging and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing complex electrical systems, circuits, and components, with a primary focus on PCB design and layout. This position requires a deep understanding of aerospace systems and FAA requirements, as well as proficiency in Allegro and PADS. The ability to troubleshoot and solve problems is key, along with knowledge of DO-178C and DO-254 standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex electrical systems, circuits, and components with a focus on PCB design and layout.
• Implement and adhere to FAA requirements and aerospace standards in all design and development processes.
• Utilize Allegro and PADS software for PCB design, layout, and verification.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems related to electrical systems, circuits, and components.
• Ensure compliance with DO-178C and DO-254 standards in all design and development processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of electrical systems with other systems.
• Conduct tests and evaluations of designs to ensure performance and reliability.
• Prepare and present technical data and reports to stakeholders and team members.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and industry trends in electrical engineering and design.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design engineering, particularly in PCB design and layout.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace systems and FAA requirements.
• Proficiency in Allegro and PADS software for PCB design and layout.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with DO-178C and DO-254 standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail and quality.
• Willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and industry trends in electrical engineering and design.
