You will be the backbone of our team, leading the design and implementation of power distribution systems, lighting systems, auxiliary systems, fire alarm systems, access control systems, voice/data systems, and CCTV. Responsibilities
As a Senior Electrical Designer (MEP), your responsibilities will include
- Developing and designing electrical systems for various building types in accordance with the latest building codes and standards.
- Utilizing AutoCAD and Revit to create detailed electrical system layouts and schematics.
- Designing power distribution systems, lighting systems, auxiliary systems, fire alarm systems, access control systems, voice/data systems, and CCTV.
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure electrical designs are integrated seamlessly with other building systems.
- Conducting system calculations and prepare equipment specifications.
- Reviewing and approving contractor submissions and provide solutions to field issues.
- Leading and mentoring junior designers and drafters, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
To be considered for the Senior Electrical Designer (MEP) role, you will need
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in MEP electrical design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution systems, lighting systems, auxiliary systems, fire alarm systems, access control systems, voice/data systems, and CCTV.
- Familiarity with the latest building codes and standards.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
