We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will provide an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from planning and design to implementation and maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality electrical designs and solutions and overseeing projects. This is a permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Design and develop complex electrical systems and circuits.
- Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Ensure all designs and installations comply with industry safety standards and regulations.
- Perform detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project success.
- Conduct research and analysis to solve complex electrical engineering problems.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, helping to enhance their skill sets.
- Prepare and present technical reports and project updates to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in the field of electrical engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically in lighting and electrical design.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Proficient in electrical engineering software.
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical manufacturing processes and systems.
- A working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or BIM System(s), specifically REVIT MEP is preferred
- In depth knowledge of grounding and lightning protection systems..
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
