Job Details
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to an innovative and forward-thinking company in the engineering industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, designing, and improving electrical instruments and systems while ensuring compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and design new electrical systems, solve problems, and test equipment.
- Study and apply knowledge of electrical schematics, power distribution & control panel layout.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure project completion within the specified deadline.
- Review architectural plans and prepare electrical systems layouts.
- Oversee and coordinate work with the electrical team to design, develop, and supervise all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery.
- Work closely with other departments to maintain and improve the electrical infrastructure of the company.
- Conduct quality control tasks, inspections, and evaluations to ensure the completion of projects as planned and adherence to national and local codes.
- Evaluate operational systems and recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
- Ensure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineers or other personnel to identify, define, or solve developmental problems.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically in the HVAC field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes, electrical codes, and industry best practices.
- Proven expertise in the use of electrical diagnostic equipment and software.
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in the use of engineering software.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and project management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and complete tasks independently.
- Highly motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred but not required.
